Growing Fall decorations

I enjoy decorating our front porch for fall so I’ve been trying to grow my own decorations. I did really well one year and had so many pumpkins, but the last two years have been a bust. Plants not growing or the chickens destroy them. This year I had the idea to use our chicken run. We moved to free ranging our chickens again so we don’t need the run anymore. But it’s full of great fertilizer (plants should grow well) plus it is all enclosed (no chickens destroying plants). And the fencing should provide some good trellis options for the vines. We’ve planted mini pumpkins, white pumpkins, regular pumpkins, blue pumpkins, pie pumpkins, and a couple of varieties of giant pumpkins. First picture is when we first planted.
